Kinkosa Critical Minerals Explorer · Queensland
Bauxite on the Weipa plateau. Gold where nobody drilled.
Five exploration permit applications lodged in Queensland in August 2026: three on the preserved bauxite surfaces of Cape York, two on gold systems the historic record left untested.

Found by machines. Proven by geologists.
Our models read every assay, survey and report Queensland has ever filed, and ranked the ground before we applied for it. The first-pass programs are designed; the ground decides the rest.
01 / The Story
Aluminium is the quiet metal of the AI build-out: the racks, the busbars, the transmission line, the airframe of every drone and the body of every electric vehicle. Australia already supplies about a quarter of the world's bauxite, and most of it comes off one surface, the lateritic plateau of Cape York. Our models read the whole public record of that surface and asked a narrow question: where is the preserved plateau that nobody finished testing?
The gold story is the same method turned on a different signal. A statewide screen of about 22,300 discrete magnetic sources re-found Kidston, Mount Leyshon, Mount Morgan, Ernest Henry and Osborne blind before it was allowed to nominate new ground. Two survivors of that screen and its audits are now lodged applications. Applications, not discoveries: the drill bit decides everything, and we say so.
02 / Bauxite · Cape York
Three permits on the Weipa surface.
Dulhunty East Extended (EPM 29675, 92 sub-blocks), Dulhunty North Extended (EPM 29676, 100) and East Weipa (EPM 29677, 27) sit on the same preserved plateau surface that hosts the operating Weipa and Bauxite Hills mines. The target is a Weipa-class pisolitic gibbsite blanket, typically 2 to 4 m thick inside the top 10 m of the profile.
The test is a specification gate, not a discovery hole: 35% Al2O3 and an alumina-to-silica ratio of at least 2, proved with shallow auger holes and Bayer-digest leach assay. Rio Tinto confirmed surface cemented bauxite at 47.99% Al2O3 on the Dulhunty East ground before surrendering it (historical). Gallium, a critical mineral for the chip and power-electronics chain, is recovered from bauxite at the refinery stage.

03 / Gold · Central and southern Queensland
Two systems the record left untested.
Ayres Rock SE (EPM 29658, 25 sub-blocks) holds the flanks and depth extension of a drilled low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver system on the Drummond Basin margin. The historic joint venture condemned only a 2 by 1.5 km window, left its own deep IP feature undrilled, and exited by corporate collapse, not geology.
Texas North (EPM 29672, 14 sub-blocks) is a discrete rimmed magnetic plug that has never been drilled by anyone, on ground that twenty-five successive holdings covered without one reported drillhole. It is the intrusion-related gold search image of the Kidston and Mount Leyshon class.
Every permit, in three dimensions
Each application is a real landform with the real historical record on it. Open one to walk the terrain, see the lodged sub-blocks, and see the mineral system we are exploring for.
